چکیده
Surgery for rheumatoid arthritis of the hand and wrist has improved the lot ofmany with this condition over the past several years, and there is no doubt that surgery can make an enormous difference to the course of the disease. Pain, deformity, poor function, and cosmesis are all indications for surgery. There are, however, many patients who are denied access to surgery who would benefit from it.
